Product Design / GAS DETECTION
The Galaxy® GX2 Automated Test System
Building upon the initial Galaxy calibration system design, the GX2 further expands its capabilities by adding innovative new user experience features. Testing & calibration of gas detection devices is a daily chore to keep both operators & the public that they serve safe from harmful exposure. Achieving this with time efficient accuracy while providing detailed data in the process not only ensures the well-being of those that use the product, but also provide cost savings for the industries that use them.
Key features for this product include:
System compatible Galaxy gas detectors will automatically test, calibrate, & charge when inserted into the unit without need for a single button push.
An intuitive color touch screen in 18 languages was added for ease of setup, viewing calibration data, & displaying pop up results.
Additional Link Pro software allows for datalogging, alerts, calibrations, & maintenance data. Research data, report generation, & exposure alerts can be automatically emailed to the user to organize all information effectively & efficiently for an entire fleet of detectors.
By using RFID-tagged gas cylinders, the gas cylinder information is automatically entered into the system with onscreen cylinder pressure gages that can display multiple cylinder statuses at once.
An innovative gas ‘halo’ cylinder holder that visually indicates the volume of gas remaining in cylinders in a color changing green, yellow, or red glow to alert users when it’s time to order replacement testing gas.
Large at-a-glance visual indicators that include test stand status, detector model, & battery status.
The ability to connect up to 4 gas cylinders & 10 devices by utilizing multiple device inserts inside one charging cell that can save users 50% of calibration costs by using time more efficiently than in the previous model.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
